1. Who We Are
HC Pyramid Electrical LTD is an electrical contractor working from Farnborough, Hampshire, registered in England and Wales as HC Pyramid Electrical Limited, company number 08897439. Our office is Suite G04B, Pure Offices, Ferneberga House, Alexandra Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 6DQ. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
Contact: hcpyramidelectrical@gmail.com or call 01252 447255.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you contact us through our website enquiry form, phone, or email. This may include your name, email address, phone number, details about your property and the work you are enquiring about, and any photographs you choose to send us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes
- Arrange a site survey
- Contact you about a job you have asked us to quote for
We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent.
4. Who We Share Your Information With
Enquiries submitted through this website are received and stored in our customer relationship management system, which is operated on our behalf by a third-party provider acting as our data processor under our instructions. We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.
Four other services receive your IP address simply because your browser connects to them when a page loads: Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile, which the enquiry form uses to block automated submissions; Google, which serves the map in the footer of every page and the fonts the site is set in; and Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used. We do not send them anything else about you.
Our agency handles that system on our behalf and engages the software provider that runs it. The provider is based outside the United Kingdom, so your information may be transferred to and stored outside the UK. If you want to know how that transfer is protected, ask us and we will put you in touch with the people who can tell you.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your information on the basis of legitimate interest (to respond to your enquiry) and, where you ask us to quote for or carry out work, to fulfil a contract. Where we require your consent for any processing, we will ask for it separately.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep enquiry records no longer than we need them. If you become a customer, we keep relevant records in line with our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to remove your information at any time, and we will do so where there is no ongoing business or legal reason to retain it.
One limitation is worth being straight about. The record of a form submission itself is held in our provider's system and cannot be deleted from it. If you ask us to erase your data we will remove your details from our own records and stop using them, and we will tell you if anything cannot be deleted at source and why.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing, to request that processing be restricted, and to ask us for a copy of the information you gave us in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it. The one limit on deletion is the one set out in section 6 above. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hcpyramidelectrical@gmail.com.
8. Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics to measure how visitors use it, and that sets analytics cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not use cookies to build a profile of you. Some embedded third-party services set cookies of their own, subject to their respective privacy policies: our enquiry form, which is provided by a third party and uses Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions, and the Google Maps embed.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. Where a change is significant we will make that clear on the page.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
